The WHO (World Health Organization) is running a mental health campaign to tackle the stigma and misconceptions called “Depression” Let’s Talk “. Health is a complete state of physical, mental and social well-being… but not simply the absence of disease or deformity.
The WHO expressed concern that many countries have little or no support for people with mental health disorders. In its Global Health Estimates about the Depression of 2015, it is said that over 50 million Indians suffer from depression, while over 30 million suffer from anxiety disorders.
Depression can occur:
- low productivity,
- Anger and despair,
- Isolation and fear
- Kills creativity
- You can’t forget but you learn to forgive
- Stop negative thinking
- Develop positive mental attitude
- Talk to a friend who can honestly share your feelings
- Obesity can also lead to depression, regulating your eating habits and sleep schedule
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been openly speaking about her depression days and she has overcome it. In doing so, she has come into the limelight on all types of mental illnesses.
