Used in preparing the sheet in manufacturing processes for manufacturing the final product. The sheet is prepared in various ways. Sheets play a major role in informing the process of dying. The size of the sheet will be the same as the size of the die as the sheet will replicate in the death process.
In the progressive die formation, the sheet is progressed from one station to another. In punching is made first and later the sheet will be made. The punching of the die is first done to form a small sheet and with perforation the material will be further stretched and the blanking of the holes is done using blanketing dye. The size of the sheet is similar to the size of the die.
In the transfer dye process, sheet metal is placed under the dye. The blanking process is first done using a bling dye to make a hole. Then the sheet with a hole will be pushed forward to make a punch. This process is the opposite of the process of progressive die cutting.
In the compound dye process, holes and blank are formed at once. Blanking and punching die will work in it. The punching doe will be placed inside the blanking dye. But the movement and speed of blanket die and die punching will be different. There will be a small fraction of seconds between the formation of spaces and holes. The holes are first made using a blanking dye and then later using a blanking dye.
In the combinatorial dye process, the cutting operation and the preparation work are done at once. And the cut product will be formed and the blank will be formed. The formed blank will be drawn into a cup. It also involves punching and blanketing process at a time. But the difference between the two operations will be a fraction of a second. The punching dye will be placed inside the blanking dye. Punching will be conducted and then the process will be finished using blanching dye.
This is the main important process in the manufacture of metal sheets in making operations.
